FVIO

Family Violence Intervention Orders

Family Violence Intervention Orders apply where the parties are family members, current or former partners, relatives, or people in a domestic relationship. They may be sought where there are allegations of physical abuse, emotional or psychological abuse, coercive or controlling behaviour, threats, intimidation, property damage, stalking or other family violence behaviour.

Personal Safety Intervention Orders

Personal Safety Intervention Orders apply where the parties are not family members. They may relate to neighbour disputes, workplace conflicts, harassment, stalking, threatening behaviour, property damage or ongoing unwanted contact.

These matters may involve:
