Layal is a passionate advocate for justice and a dedicated criminal defence and intervention order lawyer. She founded Layal Legal to ensure that every person, regardless of their background or circumstances, has access to skilled and strategic legal representation.
With experience across the Magistrates' Court and County Court of Victoria, Layal has represented clients in criminal law, traffic law, family violence intervention orders and personal safety intervention orders. She is known for her meticulous preparation, calm courtroom presence and genuine care for her clients.
Layal holds a Bachelor of Legal and Dispute Studies (Distinction) and a Juris Doctor from RMIT University. She is admitted to practice in Victoria and is a member of the Law Institute of Victoria.
